RIAA is trying to DRM Life

DRM is killing music

The RIAA is a fat pig trying to suck the last bit of profit out of their tired and dated business structure. Instead of adapting they are suing. Instead of looking to the future, they are looking to exploit.Down with DRMI’m just sick of it. There isn’t much really to say. CD’s are too expensive to buy more than one or so a month. Digital downloads have so much DRM you basically don’t own the music at all, its like buying a car and the dealership limiting you to going 25mph and the car won’t work out of state.

It’s just ricockulous.

I therefore pledge to never buy a digital download ever again. In fact, I’m going to buy a record player. I got a big ass box of old records I’m going to rip to an un-DRM’d MP3 or some-other format. I’m going to only buy CD’s from Indie labels, and not the fake Indie labels that are actually owned by the big guys. I mean my friends in the band Truck, and other independent artists like Mike Park.

US Constitution

Fuck DRM. It is my constitutional right to own property.
