Collar Stays, those plastic things that go inside your collar to keep it “perky” always seem to get lost or bent out of shape.
This is something I would A) never remember to buy and B) wouldn’t have the first idea where to start, other than online.
Anyways, this morning I needed one for my last dress shirt, instead of going and poaching one out of another shirt, I decided to make use of an expired gift card. I just did a pretty rough cut of the outline of the other collar stay that I had. And it worked great!
The thickness of the plastic will keep it’s shape even better than the original ones. If you decide to do this you should just make sure that you don’t make the tip of it too sharp, or it could cut or poke through your shirt.
Another good source for the kind of plastic that you would need are the disposable hotel keys. You never really need to turn them back in.

Thats soo naughty, tut tut. Do you know how irritating it is for receptionists when passocards and visitor passes etc arent handed in, you should have your hand slapped for that
And still not quite sure how u put the card int he shirt…
