I’ve neglected posting anything here in a while. I really don’t have the energy to post anything huge or life changing.
However, I did want to talk about the little side project that I’ve been involved with recently.
I’m an avid listener of the Buzz Out Loud podcast from CNET. From meeting a few people through the forums I have gotten to know quite a few of these people. I have enjoyed it so much so that I wanted a way for all of us to be able to share more with each-other in one easy place. This place is Buzz Town Center. In short it’s an aggregator for the members of BOL that want to share and get to know others more. In long terms it’s something new that could grow into any number of things.
I started the site myself, however I couldn’t have gotten anywhere without the (mostly) enthusiastic responses that I have received from townies of Buzz Town. I feel really guilty because I haven’t been able to devote much time to improving and focusing the site more. I guess I’m a little embarrased at the apparent lack of features/vision for the site. I hope to be able to get things moving again in a way that will give everyone a renewed sense of confidence in the site, including me!
